Is this an aries windvane

Is this an Aries Wind Vane? Is it complete? My dad took this off his 41 Morgan OI and is looking to sell it, I'm not sure if it's complete, if I should try and part out the bronze parts on ebay, or what. I've also got a sail for it, not pictured.

Re: Is this an aries windvane

I do not have one however there is a rudder which assists the boat's rudder. I do no see that here. Maybe i'm wrong, you might check out their web sight for more details.

Re: Is this an aries windvane

It is definitely not an Aries (which is a horizontal-axis vane servo-pendulum style system). This is a vertical axis vane (which kinda looks like a Sayes-rig), but I'm not sure about the in-the-water bit.

Yes it looks like a Sayes... thanks for the info.

Do you think anybody would be interested in the parts? I'm guessing we should just take it to Minneys?
