The two happiest days

The day you buy a boat and the day you sell it apparently. I disagree. Sold Tangerine today, deliver her to the new owner on Sunday. I'll miss her greatly.

I think that only applies to power boats.

Yeah, maybe. Still, on the positive side, I sold her for $5 more than my asking price. Can't be many boat sales saying that at the moment!

$5? Did you pick his pockets?

It's only a happy day if, like you, you're getting another.

(Or its messed up and you're pulling one over)

Wont be happy till I hear you've closed on a larger C&C. I know you did a lot of great work on that "Tangerine" boat.

That tangerine is gorgeous! I was thinking about this the other day and wanting to ask you what the paint is, so I can do my canoe that colour. I figured I'd search the forum, but since you're here... ? :-)

Congratulations on closing the sale. Is there another boat in the works?

Every day is happy

My happiest day was when the ice melted. I have more fun everytime I take mine out. The sailing community is so much closer than power boaters. Every time I go out someone is willing to go out. Everytime we come in somebody comes out to help us dock. I love my boat and marina. It was never like that with power boats. I could not even think about not sailing now. So get another boat.

Matt, she wasn't painted, the orange is the original gelcoat. Gotta love the 70s, they had such great colours for boats.

and the famous C&C screaming psychedelic orange and green plaid burlap cushions. It wasn't the motion of the boat that made you want to throw up- it was the colour scheme.
