Sailing in the Bahamas "Sea of Abaco" Short Film (HD Video)

A new film on Abaco, Bahamas that we just finished making! I had an awesome time there last week - can't believe the color of the water!! Has anyone else been to Hope Town? That place is like magic, so charming.

Hope you enjoy the video!

Nice work! In addition to artistic talent it looks like you must have some pretty high quality equipment and editing software.....

You always make high quality videos. As always, I enjoy it. The only bad part is no one will post their sucky videos anymore.

HAHAHA I love it! You filmed my grandparents house- 20 seconds in!
These are my stomping grounds of a child- I encourage you to film the trails and caves of Cave Hill next time you are on Man-O-War. I forgot that night sky. Simply stunning. I am very happy to have seen this right now.

When I see that night sky I wonder how any could question the existence of God- the majesty is breathtaking.

Kudos to you once again- Artistic expression is incredible. You are very talented. Thank you for posting.

I hoped to get more sailing shots in, and found myself hanging off the side of the boat with my camera! I'm just glad I didn't fall in, there were a few close calls! ^^;

Harborless: What...........Caves on Man o war? Huh? Tell me more. My crew to the Abacos always consists of experienced cavers (only people who will sail with me cuz they have low comfort expectations). I really do not recall much vertical relief on Man o war. Do you know any other caves (dry or at least some air space) I can use to entice my crew? We did the ones near Hole in the wall and we even found some on Green Turtle But local knowledge trumps everything. Happen to know Nancy Albury?

Re: Sailing in the Bahamas "Sea of Abaco" Short Film (HD Video)

The camera footage is stabilized on a "glidecam," which is essentially a metal frame that has free movement in all directions. When you balance it by adjusting the screws, then the camera stays level and the system naturally swings back to the level state whenever it is knocked around thereby dampening movement. There are a few makers of this out there, another is steadicam I believe.
