Houston to Bahams

Hi guys,

i am in Houston since three months and i would like to sail to Bahams. I am looking for a good sailing school or charter where to go. Any advice for the galveston area?

Thank you very much

Re: Houston to Bahams

Houston is around 1500 miles from the Bahamas. Blue Water Sailing School out of Ft. Lauderdale has IMO the best opportunuty to learn how to sail the Bahamas.

Re: Houston to Bahams

You can charter a yacht from a number of different charter companies already based in the Bahamas... That is the route to go. Although everything is starting to close up for the hurricane season.
