G30 portlight replacement
I'm the proud new owner of a '73 Grampian G30 with original portlights badly in need of replacement. I would like to contact someone who had done this job who could provide advice.
Here are the search results for previous threads on the subject.
This site will help.

There are some articles there about replacing the portlights, and advice on where to get the necessary part.
Great boat - you will love her.
Hiya... not much help w/the portlights, just wanted to say hello and that I am the owner of a 72 G 30' #75.... if you need help on the rehab or find good ideas to share, id love to be your pal....
Thanks for the warm welcome. After reading all the advice I could, I decided to wait until warmer weather to replace the portlights. Apparently, thermal expansion is an issue. It sealled with duct tape for now.
I look forward to participating with this group. I'm back into sailing after a number of years. This is a new boat for me and in a new part of the country.
I've got a lot to learn, but I'm eager to get started.
