Thought I might be the first. We bought our boat from the original owner who bought it when he retired. We were lucky enough to get all the sales brochures and line drawings as well as a picture of the boat the day it left the factory on a trailer. I must say it is so much fun. It's fast and roomy. I have seen ads of this model all over the world. If there are any questions that I might help with, please just ask.
This is a long shot! funsailthekeys, if you still follow this thread, I'd be very interested in acquiring copies of your schematics!
We have owned our Hirsch for 2.5 years and love it... We haven't done any traveling other than the inaugural trip after purchasing her. But we are out most every weekend with our two little girls.
She had been abandoned for almost three years, after the previous owner passed away, while the estate closed. Due to the lack of attention, she needed some help. But, she's a great vessel! Lots of projects, many completed, many to still do...
Hello - I realize this thread is quite old but wondered if you still have your GS 45 Hirsch. I'm considering purchasing one and was looking for input. The one I'm considering has a Perkins 4.108, 40 hp, which seems underpowered to me. Thoughts? Also, do you know if this boat was stick or pan built?
