GulfStar 43 Mk II ketch/sloop
While I realize this post is quite old, I thought I'd respond.....The original poster was looking for a photo of a GS43, the responder, only responder "Can Blu" questions why?
The Gulfstar 43 was a very well built boat, better built than many similar today. The boat, rigged as either ketch, or sloop, the design sailed very well in a variety of sea conditions. A sailboat design that sailors sailing the boat found it did everything well. If you had a mild grounding, usually there would be nothing to worry about as these boats were very solid in construction. I as an owner of many sailboats, including a GS 43, can understand why someone expressed an interest for expressing praise for the GS 43 as a magazine article, if that was what the poster intended.........These boats, only 80 produced, were great boats, and worthy of mention............SB
