Rudder repair

Hi All, Where did the month of May get off too? Update: We have Hull # 806. Yr. '76.
I will try aand post pic soon. The rudder has a crack in it. from the top, down the outer edge, about 3" past the mounting plate. How do we remove the bolts that hold the rudder to the mounting Plate? It appears they have been riveted on? They will not budge. :confused:

Yes need pixs. I have hull #552, also 1976. Sounds like you may not have the original rudder. The original attaches between two large aluminum plates with a 3/8" bolt. This is so the rudder can pivot up id grounded.
