Hunter battery switch/solar indicator

Looking for some information for a long distance customer with a Hunter 270. He mentioned his starter battery switch has a "solar" indicator light. He doesn't know where to attach the controller. I suggested if he had the manual, it might provide the answer. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone knew the answer. I am assuming that's what the "solar" indicator is for, indicating the panel is on & charging.

Also, is this indicator only for the starter battery? Does the Hunter have a similar switch / indicator for the house bank?

Thanks for any info...

Edit: Additional info. He says he thinks he only has one battery. Did the 270 (with diesel) come standard with only one battery (start)?
