Question mast tuning hunter 38

I have a 2001 Hunter 38 with in the mast furling and fractional rig. Question is should the mast be bent or left straight. This is in relation to the main sail furler to be able to smoothly rotate in the mast with out binding the main sail at the bend in the mast. Thanks for any help, Don.

With in-mast furling, the mast pre-bend should not be more than 2".
