Hunter 22 centerboard swing keel bushing
Hey everyone,
I've pulled out the centerboard/swing keel from my hunter 22, and I'm in the process of replacing the nylon bushing. It was badly deformed. I've contracted a machine shop to make a few bronze replacements. They should be here in a few days. So if anyone needs to replace their H22's nylon centerboard bushing, I could sell you one of these extra bronze bushings I'll be getting.

hunter 20 swing keel part
I need a part for my hunter 20 swing keel. I do not know whether the size or shape of your bushing is the same. Do you still have extra? If you do I will give specs, pics of the part to see if it matches. Thanks…

I just pulled the swing keel off my new 1983 H22 today. The nylon bushing is shot and I'm in need of a replacement. Do you still have any of the bronze ones for sale?

Hi there,

Yes, I do have a couple of the bronze bushings left. I would be happy to send one to you. Cost is $100 delivered, and I accept paypal paypal or check in the mail.

The bushing is professionally machined of marine grade bronze and will outlast you or I for sure! I am out of the stainless steel pins, but can have one made if you need it also. It would be an additional $50.

Bronze keel bushing
Can you please post dimensions of the bushing you have available. I need to know the outer diameter, the inner diameter where the pin goes and the bushing length.

Sur, I. Would be happy to. I will be away until sunday, but i can measure them next monday and get the measurements to you then.

The outer diameter of the bushing is 1 and 5/16 inches or 33.5 mm.
The inner diameter is 1/2" or 12.5 mm
The length is 1 & 3/4 inches or 44.5 mm.

I measured the bushing with a plastic caliper, so the measurements are good, but not perfect like with a micrometer.

Thanks for following up. I was afraid they might be different sizes and it turns out they are. In the meantime, I've found a local machine shop that can make one for me from nylon or delrin. I'm going with delrin because of its superior properties.
