My thoughts
I have a 1991 32 ' Hunter vision. For five years i have sailed it on the great lakes. I reef rarely only if and when needed. An electric winch does help raise and lower the main. People are amazed at how much room is on the boat the women love it for entertaining guests. I find it likes strong winds it is a heavy boat. Under power it backs up and turns very well in short areas. I heve made a 2x6x6' board which I lash to the mast for haulout and launch which helps with the mast at both times guidenence in and out.
