Barcelona to Cadaques, Costa Brava

I'm debating whether to sail Minorca or the Costa Brava this summer. All reports on the web indicate the costa brava from Barcelona northeast to cadaques has no anchorages, expensive marina moorings only. any forum members have any first hand experience or advice? Thanks!

Re: Barcelona to Cadaques, Costa Brava

Never went further up than Barcelona on account of that. I don't now if it has any but surely very few while Minorca has many "calas", but unlike Costa Brava very few places where a yacht can stay at a Marina. Only three, Mahon, Ciudadella and Fournels. On Ciudadella is almost impossible to find a place, on Mahon difficult and on Fournels difficult and a very small port were a bigger boat will have trouble to get in.
