Smile Hello all..

Hi there,

my names Dave, I'm based in the small town of Lyme Regis in Devon UK.

I predominately sail dinghies, but my father has always had yachts and currently has a Snapdragon 29. So I've spent a lot of time with him cruising but I've also raced Sigma 33s and a Beneteau 29 out of the Hamble in the UK too.

I'm looking to get a yacht in which I can spend more time with the family rather than just hooning around the buoys in the harbour, which is the reason I joined.

Nice to meet you all

Dave

Re: Hello all..

Welcome Dave. Good to have you in the conversation.

Your screen name and link suggest you are a commercial interest. You're probably familiar with SN's policies on that, but thought I would point it out to avoid the snag, in the event you're not.

Hi there,

I just looked and I cant change my screen name. If you want to delete this account then I'll re register in my own name?

In answer to your observation though I do both, I do what I said above and i do own a shop.

All the best

Dave

Re: Hello all..

Welcome again.

I don't police this place, I only thought a heads up would help before a potential headbutt. If you click the red triangle on your own post and explain what you might want to change, it will be read by admin/moderators. I don't think you can send PMs with so few posts. Other users can report posts too, but I reserve that for spam or offensive stuff. These policy issues, I let SN sort out for themselves.

Cheers mate.

Re: Hello all..

Thanks for the warm welcome... (and the pointing out of the ways to do things )

I'm looking forward to spending too much time here, there's certainly plenty to read!
