Red face Hello, We are making a small web series that documents our day by day sailing trip.

Hello, I am new to the forums (and to sailing) and I would like to introduce to you the first episode of a small webseires we are putting together.

youtube.com/watch?v=4RU_CaTsuXo

It is a day by day series documenting a captain who takes his first time crew out to sea with his new sailboat, on a mission to return "Aleph Tav"(the boat) from Maryland to Rhode Island before hurricane sandy hits the east coast.
"Leaving Home"(episode 1) covers the first day as we prepare ourselves and the boat for the voyage.

I know there are many documentaries out there, but this is not the norm.
The catch here is that the captains whole crew consist of 5 teenagers (ages 14-19) who never sailed before.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
If anyone is interested, I will continue to post the episodes here on the forum.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I can't watch the video - I am at work and the IT police has blocked youtube here . Will look at it tomorrow when I am back home.

There is a forum just for sailing videos, you might want to put yours' onto there:

Cruising Videos - SailNet Community

Sailing teaches kids far more than just the sport itself. Will be interesting to see your series.
