PCP will become famous soon enough
A nice new member

As some of you have known I had a nasty accident, being rammed by a 50T motorboat (more about it on the interesting boat thread). Pete, the skipper of a nearby boat saw everything and was very helpful making himself available as a witness.

Later I have the opportunity to know him better and found a very interesting sailor with a bit more than 70 year's old that solo sails a Camper Nicholson 38 for decades, living aboard. I am sure he is a very experienced sailor, has been on the Caribbean and presently he is in Vulcano bound for home in wales, coming from Greece where he has been the last years.

So guys, give a warm welcome to NauticalPete. I insisted to introduce him to our nautical community where I am sure he will be an asset.

Re: A nice new member

Thanks very much for the recommendation of someone who sounds like he could have a lot to contribute to our community (both online and off).

Any friend of Paulo's is a friend of ours.

Nice looking thing the Nich 38 .... same designer as the 35 ? Looks similar. Though they had there problems with Osmosis at one time I've alwasy had a soft spot for C&N. The 32 was truly lovely boat. There's one moored near us and I cannot help but admire her every time we pass.
