Gestinautica, near the diesel/gasoline station not far from the fixed bridge. The price is nice and the place is beautiful. They are also good in what regards maintenance and repair.

I was rammed by a motorboat this season and my boat needed a repair. I trust them so much that I sailed back the boat from from the Cyclades to be repaired there. Next year I will sail back again to Greece. I have been there also last year. Come from S. Giorgio, sailed on Croatia and Greece and leaved the boat there for doing some modifications.

I know well Sardinia (beautiful) I sailed there for two seasons. Leaved the boat in Arbatax, in Paolo's shipyard. Nice price and good service too.

Ciao

Paulo

This is absolutely incredible !!!!
I've been 6 years in Sardinia, based in Arbatax.
I know Paolo very well but my boat has always been in Valdes's shipyard because I know Massimo and his father very much.
I'd like to sail to Greece in the future but, for the moment I don't have enough time to spend on my boat

Re: Hi everybody from Italy

Small world:)

It seems that we have been there probably at the same time in 2008 and 2009. I leaved there the boat in the end of August/September 2008 and was there again in July 2009, to prepare the boat for cruising. In fact I sold that boat in 2009 in Italy and delivered it in Toscania, on the new marina south of Piombino where I believe it is now.

If you like to cruise you have to try Greece: Italy is nice but a pain in the ass with all those limitations to anchor near the beach, 4 different maritime police, very expensive marinas, buoys that go from 35 to 70 euros and natural reserves everywhere (where anchorage is limited). Not many places to anchor either if compared with Greece. Restaurants and diesel are also much less expensive...and the Greeks are very nice.
