Chesapeake sailor

Hello, Sailnet.

On again/off again sailor with a number of other interests (e.g, bicycling), and hoping to get back to "on again". I owned a Freedom 21 on the Chesapeake for a number of years, took many excellent J/World Annapolis courses and a good one from Maryland School of Sailing, raced a few years on and off on Wed nights, and chartered twice in the BVI, and once in the Chesapeake Bay.

Considering Chesapeake Sailboat club which I see expanded to include Baltimore (also known as Balmer), I think the old Downtown sailing club?? . Not sure expansion is a good thing, any opinions or feedback on it? Boats kept up well?

Matt
