Hello my name is Ross, I have been club racing with my brother in law for the past 5 years or so on a custom 30 foot Henderson, while this has been enjoyable I am looking more into cruising and day sailing with my family and friends. I have been looking into purchasing my own boat for few years and this past fall I purchased a 28 foot Aloha, now I have to learn how to sail it, my wife queries "how hard can it be ". Looking forward to the learning curve.

Welcome! Where are you sailing? That's the Brewer designed Aloha, correct? Should be a comfy cruiser with potential for adventuring far when you're ready.

Enjoy the forum!

Ah yes, have spent some quality time on the north shore of Lake Superior, Agawa Bay, holding our tent down trying to keep it from blowing away, still one of the most beautiful places around.
