Revbudd is on a distinguished road
Good to be here

Hello to all from windy Northern California:

I refound sailing about a year ago after some absence (children, life). We hail from Sacramento, CA and have just purchased our first big boat - 1990 MacGregor 26S. She was a bit dusty when we bought her so have spent the last month cleaning and replacing this and that. We're ready for our first shake-down sail this weekend.

There is so much I don't know about boat maintenance (except that the money funnel is flowing). I need tips on rigging, electrical and motor (have a 9hp outboard "Yachtwin"... I don't know if that works yet).

The Sailnet board has been great to read and learn about others. I will find the appropriate threads and try to post my questions there.

Best sailing to all.

Regards,
Rev Budd

Welcome, and yes, you owe us pictures. You'll need 10 posts to do that, and this is an appropriate thread to do so.

I am now convinced that you are either a "Picture collector" or being paid to request them by some known Portuguese underground photo shop expert....I think the later....

I digress..

Budd welcome to the community

Be nice to me or I won't show you the pictures I took of "Hello, Georgeous" from the seaplane. (Is there a comma?)
