Our first . . . and loving it

My girlfriend and I have our first sailboat - a 1970 Pearson 26, hull #50, tho I have been a sailor for years (Special Olympics sailing coach on Rhodes 19's for 11 years now). She's fallen in love with the boat and the water which is great cause she's wanting to learn it all now before joining our friends Patrick and Rebecca Childress on Brick House in Australia sometime in a year or two. (they are on a 3-4 year circumnavigation and are doing feature articles in Blue Water Sailing - you can also follow them via thier a blog on sailblogs.com at Picture Credit:Herb McCormick from Cruising World | Where is Brick House?)
Looking forward to connecting with people thru Sailnet which has already been a help on a boom vang attachment issue. Fair winds . . .

Chris and Tammy
