Hi from the middle of NC

I have always wanted to sail since a friend's dad took me on Smith Mountain Lake almost 15 years ago. I joined sail.net to learn and I dont mind admitting my lack of knowledge, I just need help getting started right to reach a goal of ocean sailing. Thanks.

Thumbs up

Welcome Gerry. I have been around for only a few weeks and I do not know much myself yet about sailing but I can tell you that this is a good place to learn by reading threads and exchanging with many well-experienced sailors.
