New to Sailing
We just purchased a new to us Mcgregor 23 Venture and are getting ready to transport it to our new home in SE Alaska. We have zero experience sailing, we've spent all our time rowing boats from the Grand Canyon to the Alsek. One of the things we need to install before we head north is a power winch Pot Puller for our shrimp pots. Any ideas on where the best the place to to build a mounting bracket for it? Have thought about making some type of movable mount so that it could be utilized as an anchor winch also. We'll have to figure out how to sail after we get there.
