Bordier is on a distinguished road
We also took the plunge

My husband, Paul and a partner, Steve just bought a 1978 Cal 2-29. They just yesterday brought it from San Pedro to Ventura Harbor. We have soooo many questions. M husband and partner are a bit rusty, but will soon recall their knowledge. This is the first boat my husband has ever owned, but his partner owned an Ericson 25? for 15 years. Neither of them have sailed in 25 years, beside yesterday (Although they mainly motored the whole way because they were going against wind). My husband was the main push behind getting the boat. He had to coax his partner and mainly his wife into it. Our partners and we have sons that are close friends and 17 years old. We thought it would be a great father/son activity. My husband also said he needed some adventure in his life. I personally am into riding dressage, but I am looking forward to sailing to the Channel Islands once the sailors get their skills sharpened.
