Hello from NYC - also have a website

Hello,

I live in New York City and sail out of Mamaroneck, just north of the city on the Long Island Sound. I grew up sailing on a Cape Dory Typhoon that my father bought in 1981. I recently sold the Cape Dory and got a J-22 for a change of pace (literally!). I'm really enjoying the J-22 so far, have learned how to fly the spinnaker and am constantly learning new things considering there are so many things that can be adjusted.

hello eggman, I am from Mamaroneck and currently have my boat at Nichols after many years in the outer harbor. We have a 26ft Westerly Centaur named Aerandir. What is your boat name and where do you keep it? We'll wave as you fly by us.

Hey Ready2go -

We had a Cape Dory that I kept at Nichols for many years but found that we could save a lot of money at the municipal docks, so that's where I am with the J-22 (in the East Basin). The boat is new to me, so sadly she doesn't have a name yet, but I believe she's the only blue J-22 around. Hope to see you out there!
