Smile Hello All

My husband and I are new to sailing; taking classes and getting our ASA training. We have worked 32 years moving around the states from camp to camp and are ready to retire to a sailboat. We have a 4 - 6 year launch date (as life seems to always have it's own way in our schedule) But will go whenever the time is right. I am so glad to hear all the chatter about boats and gain some great wisdom from this site.

Welcome Luna

I highly recommend Sensible Cruising: The Thoreau Approach, by Don Casey.

A great read, a great inspiration to all of us who ever think of dropping the lines and sailing away.

Just my opinion.

Holla Snora Luna,

I am Consuellita de la Concha, but everyone calls me giulietta I am in prision in Chile, beacuse my hombre beats me mucho...but here, when the man beats you, the woman goes to jail..

I don't have any friends, and my cell is very humid, and damp...we share the cell with 34 other girls..

All I have is sailnet to keep from going crazy..I see the boats, and the sea and pretend I am sailing...

I also have a large collection of my sailnet friends photos..like saildong, Crusingmum, tehsnaya, sapperblack, camerderie, Sailormeth1, Valium, truebald, puffdiddydaddyfartylicky, artbydrunk, joelgay, toomyman, etc..

Please post your photo too

Do you have broadband in your jail cell or just a dial up? Post photos of the rest of your jail crew...
