New boat, not new to boating

How are you all doing? Im here because I have recently purchased a sabre 28 and have decided to get back into sailing rather than power for the obvious drawback of fuel costs and also the higher level of relaxation that i have always felt on sailboats. During the day when im not thinking about boats, Im a residential carpenter. Over the years Ive rebuilt a few boats and have raced and sailed all kinds of dinghies and small sailboats. I have made a couple offshore passages as well as done some boat deliveries. I have worked as a launch operator, charter boat mate, commercial lobsterman and commercial tuna fisherman... so the boating isnt new but this place sure is and it looks great.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing some information as well as learning. Without further ado, heres to boating... Rip
