Finally Joining in!

I've been a member of SailNet since '04 but have never posted. Answers to my questions have always been available from the incredible wealth of knowlege in the posts submitted to the various forums by the members of this wonderful community. I have been sailing since 2001 in the Galveston Bay area with some excursions off-shore between High Island and Port Aransas."Zephyr" is my 1986 Hunter31 currently slipped at Legend Point Marina. I'm looking forward to sharing in the discussions on SailNet forums!

How did you weather Ike?

We faired well through Ike. Our marina was pretty well protected for the given wind speeds/direction. Many in the adjacent marina didn't make out as well. My heart goes out to them.
