Ahoy!

So...

The high season for sailing in Norway is over, winter is approaching and my Beneteau First 26 is already on the trailer (blocking most of my driveway).

This has been my first sailboat purchase and I am truly happy with my choice so far. It's a 1984 model, in great shape, but with a need of an upgrade of the electrical system and some minor modifications. This will be my hobby for the winter and I'm truly looking forward to it.

I have a lot of ideas for improvements, hopefully you guys are able to talk me out of most of the bad ones.. More on that as things develop. I'm still just in the process of finishing basic preperations for winter storage.

The queen of the driveway..

I guess I'll keep spamming my own thread. I have a bunch of questions, but I need to post some pictures in the other threads as well..

A sunny day on the Swedish west coast.
