adru is on a distinguished road
Hello to all...

I just registered and will introduce myself. All my life I've loved the water and have owned several boats on and off through the years. My first experience at sailing was on a small Sea Snark in the 70's. I currently own a US Yachts 18 I keep on a trailor in my back yard which I sail around the New Haven, Branford, Thimble Islands area of the Long Island Sound. I also own a Regal 242 powerboat and 2 rowing shells. Though sculling is my primary passion my wife and I spend most summer weekends out on the sound on the Regal. My wife is not comfortable on the sailboat so I mostly sail alone when I get a chance. My mom lives in Lewes, Delaware and each summer we trailor the sailboat there for a week or so. My sister has 4 kids and they really enjoy going sailing in the Delaware Bay. I have been lurking on SailNet for quite a while and really enjoy reading the posts several times a week. I look foward to finally being able to contribute and actually view the photos section.
