Hello from the desert!

Hi, I'm here to introduce myself to all the wonderful and knowledgeable people here at sailnet. I am a female high school student from, of all places, New Mexico. I had absolutely no expirience sailing till I took a short sail training voyage two years ago, and now I'm hooked (In fact, I'm applying to class afloat for next year, wish me luck!). I love Tall Ship sailing, and I look forward to my summers when I can get out of the desert and get some salt. I have absolutely no expirience with smaller boats, but would love to get some. I'm looking forward to my time here, and learning a lot more about something I love.

Welcome aboard.

There is sailing in the desert, btw. Isn't quite like the salt water, but will teach sail trim in shifting winds.
