Thumbs up New to SailNet but not to Sailing!

Hi all,

I've been wanting to register and participate here for a long time, so many great topics to look at.

I've been sailing since I was 6 and made my first boat out of a couple of pieces of wood and floated it in a pond. Since then, I was a submariner in the Navy, owned dozens of boats of all sizes, built boats and designed several like the Northwest 21 and a 74 foot replica of Rattlesnake, a Baltimore Clipper, and chartered and cruised boats in the Carribean, Sea of Cortez, BVI's, Australia, New Zealand and currently call LA Harbor my home port.

I currently own two sailboats - a Rawson 30 that I have personally restored from a heap I picked up at the Sea Scouts in the mid 90s and a Coronado 30 I recently acquired.

Anyway, look forward to being a member here and meeting some new people too!

Captain Fred

Welcome Captain Fred. I'm pretty new here too. I enjoyed your 10 rules for buying a boat! Well written from experience.
Best,
Chuck
