New guy to this forum CT48

I'd like to say hi and introduce myself to this forum.

I'm a married 50 year old with a couple kids and a 1978 CT48.

I've spent a couple months a year for the last few years doing a big refit and reconfiguration (changed from aft cockpit to center).

I'm in the water and hope to get out of the marina for at least a run around this summer.

Still have to do a bunch of elect. work and all the water supply.

I live in Yemen, but my boats in Lebanon.

I love my boat and love working on her.

I hope to gets lots of ideas from this site and maybe make some friends while I'm at it.

Kaluvic,
Welcome aboard.
Love the looks of your boat, she is a beauty.
Thanks for posting the pictures.
It will be nice to have a voice from that side of the world.

Thanks Pappy.

My boats got a classic look and canoe stern, so I needed some classic looking davits.

They rotate around and drop to the deck for passages when the dink is stowed.

I still havenít rigged them yet, but one feature they have is a built in winch to take up a 4cm cargo strap that will pass under the dink and strap it up hard to the under side of the davits.

It was a lot of fun sorting them out.
