Newbie from New England

Hi all, great site you have here! I've been sailing for about the past ten years, started out on 420's down at the local yacht club. A few years back I got a chance to go down to the BVI and sail a Gibsea51 for a few weeks and boy, I got hooked. I've been able to go back every year since, even spent some time as crew on a 112 foot schooner in the Med. I decided that life on the water is definitely for me and I'm pursuing my IYT Master of Yachts Offshore. I've also decided to buy a boat this winter and I have a nice 1973 Cape Dory 25 lined up. I'm planing on using it to cruise the East Coast and I'm sure I'm going to find lots of great information in this community that will help me along the way.

Again, greetings!

The guy with the really confusing screen name
