Hello from Corpus Christi

Hello to the Sailnet Community,

Although we are beginner sailers, we want to train ourselves to be live-aboard cruisers after retirement in 2-5 years. We have a Buccaneer 18 that we purchased a year ago to sail in lakes near our home in Lubbock Tx. In August, we also purchased a 1982 Catalina 25 tall rig with a fin keel. After a lot of upgrades, we moved it to the Corpus Christi Municipal Marina in November. We made 3 trips to Corpus in December and January and have had several days of great sailing. Corpus Christi Bay is a beautiful place to sail.

We have learned a huge amount from the Sailnet Forums and decided to join up.

Best regards,
Walt & Kathy
