Wink around the world once

Hi
My name s Roger . My plan is to complete a circumnavigation next december . My CT 49 is now in Marmaris Turkey.
Left solo on a Fuji 35 from Plattsburg NY in 1994 heading for St-Thomas. After 2 years I decided to go first to Brazil then to Patagonia . There Marie-Anne came in my life , we upgraded to the CT 49 and we left Chile for French Polynesia in 2003 . From Bora we sailed to Maupiti, Mopelia and Suvarow. After the Samoa and the Fijis, it was south again to NZ and Australia. After reaching Darwin one has to decide between the Red Sea and South Africa. We choose the former and from Singapore we made it to Turkey in 2007.
There , Mikado had a new teak deck as well as allwgrip and engine refit.
She is a fine cruiser design by Kaufman and Ladd . Sailing the trades with the genny poled out does tell a lot about the proper lines of a sailing hull. If the autopilot can manage day after day the really big waves coming aft then you know what is a proper sailboat for a circumnavigation.
Being 75 and 66 we do not intend to do a second circumavigation so Mikado is for sale and ready
Roger
