Hi from Michigan

I have been sailing since 1971 in the Great Lakes. Spent 10 weeks during the summer of 1973 on a 37 Zeeland Yawl. I have had my Morgan 24 since 1983. Sailed in Florida, the Virgins & out of Port Elizabeth, Africa.

Welcome.
We sail out of SW Michigan on L Michigan.
There is a guy aound here that goes by the name of Baron Ed or Xort.
Look him up, he is in your neck of the woods.
Also, another guy by the mane of Jim, but he has been MIA lately.

I have spent some time over there in and on the Clinton River and St Claire. Nice boating community over there.

I grew up sailing on Lake St. Clair on a Shark. We used to weekend at Metropolitan Beach... Great times...

Welcome to Sailnet!

Thanks for the replys. I have lived on the Clinton River since 1979 & keep the boat at the house. I wish I could take time to get to Lake Huron more often.
