Talking See you in the bay!

So if you're cruising down the potomac and you see a poor sod untangling some fouled lines it might very well be me! I'm going to be making my sailing debut in DC soon. Still trying to figure out which ship is the best and right one for me though! (See my related thread) Looking forward to hearing inputs and delving into the knowledge pool of you fine folks

Where do you plan to keep the boat? We keep our Pearson 303 on the Occoquan. Not much room for sailing north of us to DC, unless the boat has a very shallow draft.

I am still trying to shop around to find the right marina for me with a good slip rate and amenities that suit my needs. Will definitely be somewhere on the DC side so I can hop on after work and head out for the weekend! You're right though there doesn't seem to be much space around here so I will be taking her south towards Virginia Beach and such
