Smile I loved being at sea.....

Hello there,
I fell in love with the idea of doing more sailing, when l was invited on a Flotilla Sailing Holiday 2006.
I had never experienced being at sea for two weeks, and l wasn't even sea sick!
The crew were experienced, so l enjoyed soaking up information, and very much taking part and helping out on board when needed.
We sailied around Croatia and it's beautiful islands, a trip l will never forget.

I was lucky enough to win my next trip sailing in 2007.
I entered a competition in a Sailing Magazine whilst waiting for my car to be serviced!
This time it was in the caribbean, and that was amazing.
We sailed from The English Harbour Antigua onto Dominica where we moored outside Big Papa's restaurant for the night. Then finally sailed passed Martinique during the night, arriving in Rodney Bay St Lucia pm the next day.
We flew back to Barbados three days later.

I took my daughter with me on that trip, as l was living in Barbados for a year at the time.
Again watching an experienced crew at work, made me want to learn more and get very much involved.
I am now back in the UK & l live on the coast, & l have very itchy feet!
Who knows, l may get the chance to put out the fenders again!
Take Care
Jane
