Greetings, and looking for a good A/C contractor in Hampton Roads

Hello all,

I'm Janice and my husband is Erik. We are the proud new owners of a beautiful 1988 42' Endeavour center cockpit boat named Luana, which we have docked in Hampton, Virginia. This boat is in amazing condition and is outfitted for cruising. However, we need to have air conditioning installed before we can move aboard, since we will be in a marina most of the time. My husband has done a lot of research and is pretty well informed for a newbie. But we are looking for a good person to do the installation for us, who can also give good advice. We are looking at a Flagship air conditioning/resistance heating unit, 18500 BTUs, to install under the starboard settee. Before researching this option, we tried a "portable" unit in the salon, but it cannot cool down the boat on a hot day. We would rather install a good unit under the settee than use a hatch-mounted unit, which is another option we considered.

Does anyone know a good person in Hampton Roads who could perform this work for us? We would like to find someone who has good word of mouth. Thanks for any advice.
