Howdy, y'all. Checking in from central Texas- home of the dry lakes. We are still able to sail our Columbia 22 on one of the lakes, but it's getting close. Great forums.

Welcome aboard, doc. Do you get a chance to trailer to other locations?

Nope, no trailer. I actually got in touch with the previous owner- well, the last one who actually sailed her, anyway- and she said my boat "shouldn't be on a trailer", too heavy. Now, I don't know much about much, but if I can find a trailer for a 22' boat, I think I may just move it against her advice.

(She had the boat for about 30 of it's 36 years, and has some different ideas about the whole sailing experience, to be honest. Interesting to talk to, though.) I'd like to get it down to the coast and do some ICW. My family used to powerboat camp along our stretch, and loved it.
