New in Missouri

The ink has barely dried on the ASA Basic Keelboat certificates my wife and I recently earned. We bought a 1965 16' Rebel and are in the process of doing some repairs/refinishing to get a chance to get in a little practice before we forget everything we learned. I know I'll have many questions, as I'd imagine many newbies do and be forewarned I'm not too proud to ask the "dumb" questions. Thanks for the opportunity to join the group. I'll look forward to the day I can offer help.

Welcome aboard, Mizzou! You came to the right place. No dumb questions, although you might get a dumb answer from time to time . But really, there's folks here who've forgotten more about boats and sailing than many of us will ever learn. It's a great place to tap into some expert help and to meet other sailors. Congrats on completing the ASA course. You just saved a bunch of time and aggravation on the learning curve. (And your wife is still talking to you. ) Good start!!
