fiff is on a distinguished road
Late "Hello"

Bought a "historic" Ted Wood 1960 designed wooden sailboat (LH 40) last year down in Texas, finally got it here into Owen Sound,ON, Canada (oh boy,oh boy...)
I love this boot, though it is touched by the"kiss of Death", it has been fiberglassed.
Right now, I am gutting it completely, mixing Borax and "green" Antifreeze on the kitchen stove, waiting fo the magic 260 degree boiling point and boric acid crystal cracking point................close to a divorce : fog and white powder dust all over the house......
May need lot of help, advise and feedback in the next two years.
About to remove the Westerbeke 40.

Welcome to SN dude! Only took you a year.

Sounds like you've got a project similar to CharlieCobra's. Look up "Oh Joy Refit" threads for what he's up to. I bet he'll be able to give you some good advice on how to concoct all kinds of crazy stuff on the stove without looking like a meth lab.

Yeah don't do the meth lab thingy... or are Canadians more accepting? Charlie can provide some info as his project is going well with how he tackled his refit...
