Hello from a landlocked Montana!

Hello all!
I'm Justin. I live in a very landlocked Montana. I was exposed to sailing when I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and have wanted to be out on the water ever since. When I was on ship we would pull into these ports in exotic locals (Palermo,Marmaris,Jordan, etc.) and I've wanted to sail ona tour of the world ever since. I plan on one day building my own boat. I'm only 25, so I still have plenty of time to plan(and dream) :)

Hi JJ and welcome to Sailnet! Good luck with your dreams, will you be sailing on Flathead lake?

perhaps

Maybe I'll get up to Flathead one day...I've been before. I'm close to yellowstone though, so the big lakes in Helena are alot closer...I live 5 minutes from a largeish lake (Ennis Lake)..but its only about 10' deep!

Greetings. There is another member here from Park City and I was originally from Bozeman. I had my first sailing experience in a little 18' sailboat on a lake in Alaska.
