Hey All!

I am a newbee to the site and recently "inherited" a '71 Venture 222. Really a sweet boat and overall in pretty good shape but like most of this make & age she is experiencing the typical swing-keel renovation requirements. I joined to see if I could find some resources from others with similar project experience, and also for social interaction with other "Trailer Sailors", not limited to just Venture/Mac owners.

Already found several threads on this subject and looking for any and all hints for dropping the 500-lb keel out and repairing this beasty. Can't wait to get her in the water so thanks in advance to anyone with info to help me get this keel project done!
