Hi Everyone,

my name is Rich.

I am a 23 year old Paramedic from Western Mass. I found your site recently and I figured I would register since I've already been spending alot of time reading all of the interesting articles here. I myself have virtually no experience at sailing. I have been out on the ocean maybe half a dozen times on a friend's family's boat, its about a 20' sailboat with a small engine and a removable centerboard that we took out onto the bay near Newport a few times.

I love going out and I definetely can't wait to start taking some hands on courses and starting learn to sail when I get onto a fire department and into a more stable income.

Untill then I'll just be hanging around here soaking up all the information I can and just dreaming.

Thanks for all the information you guys add to this site

Oh yeah, from California, and no sailing experience. I like the articles, especially on the site!
