Hello from Massachusetts

Hello,

I am a moderately experienced sailor looking for as much experience as possible. I split my time between Beverly and Marion and have plenty of time to crew and cruise. I look forward to learning as much as possible before I take the big splash of buying my first vessel. I have passed and completely several courses pertaining to navigation, boating safety, and sailing. I have an extremely flexible schedule and have great interest in doing extended trips to anywhere in world.

Welcome aboard EC!

Realize that SailNet has members from all over the world. The Pelagic Sailing Club, which is based in the Boston area, was designed to bring boat owners and competent crew together. You might want to check it out. Here is a link to more info on them.

Also, Yahoo Groups features a Mass Bay Sailors group that, thanks to the efforts of Bill Scanlon, is very active. Here is a link to MassBaySailors.

You would be surprised at the number of boat owners in the area that don't take their boats out for want of crew.

Thank you for the greetings and I will definitely look into these organizations. Hopefully, I will see some Sailnet members on the open water.
