Hello to all. Have found this site very useful and informative. The Marian Claire is a 30’ homemade boat designed by Charles Wittholz. Built in the 60s, mahogany over white oak. She has safely carried me south to the Keys and I plan to head north into the Chesapeake Bay area this spring. This winter we stayed put in NC. Dan S/V Marian Claire

One of the few pics I have of the MC. Off Key Biscayne Dec 08. Kind of confusing with the boat in the background. Dan S/V Marian Claire

CalebD will become famous soon enough
Welcome Dan!
I recognized your 'handle' from the MMI A4 forums. There is a lot more activity here and much of it is actually on topic and useful. This forum has a distinctly different 'culture' then MMI, IMHO.
Pretty boat you have there. Is that your summer residence on Biscayne in the background?

CalebD Thanks. I fell fortunate to have her. Wish the picture showed her clipper bow. As to the house. “I WISH.”. Dan S/V Marian Claire
