*shy wave* Noobie here
I am new on here, just joined about 5 minutes ago. I am interesting in learning about sailing. I used to go out on a Cruiser/Yacht when I was younger for deep sea fishing. Now I follow my dad for scuba diving while my husband makes ROVs.
I want to learn about sailing. It is something that both my husband and I are both interested in.
Also, we are looking for a boat that is unwanted and needs work. We want a good project boat. We've got a small '67 Glasstron named "Salt Water Sally" that I used to use for shrimping but we want something that can go out and do small sailings around the Charleston harbor.
My passion is tall ships and one day I plan on owning one. But I need to get my sea legs first.
I am hoping for people to nudge and point me in the right direction. I don't want anything right now over 35'.
Nice to be on here.
I am a photographer and videographer. I am also a myth researcher and love learning about more myths. Charleston is full of them.
