Getting back on the water....

Hey all,

I'm finally getting back on the water after about a 5 year hiatus when my parent's split up and we quit doing family charters in San Diego. I've been sailing on and off since I was 7 or 8, and a sunset cruise on a friends' Ericson 30 has me hooked enough to pull my copy of Champan's out of the storage boxes and to start brushing up on my seamanship.

And, of course, since I'm now out of college and establishing myself in a career I've got the insane thought that finding a boat and getting the GF and some friends out for daysails and trips to Catalina might be in order. This could get expensive. :o

Anyway, if you're in SoCal and know of a nice boat that can be chartered on the cheap for daysails shoot me a PM. I'd like to sail on a few this year to get a better feel for what I'd like beyond the Catalina's, Hunter's and Beneteau's found in the Charter fleets. When our friend said his boat was an Ericson I was =>
